Archaeological Park of Pompeii

The meeting point is at 15:10 near the room G1 at the conference site from where we will walk to reach the GT bus where we will meet our guide. At 15.30 we will travel to Pompeii to explore the ancient ruins of this famous Roman city. 

The guide will lead us through the streets and houses of the second most visited archaeological site in the world, where we will be able to appreciate the customs and daily life of a Roman colony of over 2000 years ago. Vesuvius has left us an incomparable cultural jewel, an absolutely unique treasure of history.

About 2 hours of guided tour and, upon leaving the site, the guide will take us to one of the coral jewelry and cameos production workshops, adjacent to the site, where we will receive a brief explanation and demonstration of how the Romans made their jewelry. We will leave by bus for Naples, where we will arrive at about 8:00 pm.

The cost is € 52 per person and covers the bus for the transfer from Naples to Pompeii and from Pompeii to Naples, local guide service authorized by the Campania region, entrance ticket, earphones, a bottle of water, the visit to coral jewelry and cameos production workshops.

The deadline for registration to the social event will be June 15.
